I may not agree with some of the ideologies of many of the present day followers of Babasaheb Ambedkar but can never stop myself from admiring the towering giant of Indian politics, strong advocate of human rights and the greatest social reformer. I feel Dr. Ambedkar is/was the man who has/had often been misconstrued and misinterpreted by both the extreme wings of the right and the left! He never ceases to inspire us all if we make an objective study of the monumental struggles he had to endure to make a distinct mark of his own in Indian political history and socio-cultural ethos! The greatest and the mightiest warrior of India who waged a lonely war and left behind a robust army to be reckoned with!!

  1. I must admit as a child, all I knew of this Great Man was
“He was responsible to deny the opportunity for the poor hindus not covered under any of the reservation and I simply could not see any rational explaining to me that poverty has religion or caste.. so my default mindset as the one who was on receiving end of this system for no fault of me was not impressed of Sri Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar and obviously not made effort to understand him and his work any further as the priority was to secure my livelihood first..”

    Be that as it may..
Whatever little I tried to understand him and his work, I have come to admire him a lot more and glad that India has Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar amongst us at that point of time..

Sadly I see lot less of him in his followers to-day..

So endorse the view Dr Babasahed Ambedkar was and is the Most Misconstrued and misinterpreted Son of India..

I am quite sure he would have made the necessary change to the Reservation System every 10 years by measuring the progress both of success and failures to speed up the the socio cultural ethos he had in mind.. so its the failure of Parliament and Ruling class that they took the Vote Bank meaning of this system..

He would have brought many more structural changes in the social systems that would have punctured the ill effects of religious activities while retaining and strengthening the good aspects and activities of all religions
