Please don’t waste food. Wasting food is the biggest sacrilege on the earth. “Annam Parabrahma Swaroopam” (food is equated with the LORD ALMIGHTY). Sharing is expansion and hiding is contraction. Expansion is life and contraction is death. We have to live the life which is full of love, affection and compassion. God loves those who help the needy and feed the starving. It’s a sin taking excess food when our fellow companions on this journey earth are dying of/for food. Pure love reflects in sharing and that love is God/ddess Himself/Herself. We have to spread love by sharing food among the hungry and starving as love can never be hoarded. The more we spread our love the more expanded will be our consciousness; and the lesser we spread our love the more limited, restricted and narrower would be our consciousness, and that which leads us to decay and death sooner or later. We all are doomed to die sometime or later. No one on this earth has come with a permanent visa to live and stay here longer. So there is no point in hoarding anything in excess.
Food is God; God is love; spread love by sharing food; God will reward you with more as you give more. It’s a cosmic law and time tested truth.
There is so much beauty in sharing. Life’s beautiful when it’s caring for others.
“We are all visitors to this time, this place. We are just passing through. Our purpose here is to observe, to learn, to grow, to share, to love… and then we return home.”
– Australian aboriginal proverb
